| Tech Tip Tuesday |
Live virtual class meetings are not required, but if teachers are doing live class meetings, Zoom is the recommended platform because, when configured correctly, it provides the most comprehensive security measures available.
On April 8, Zoom released an update that includes a new "Security" tool in the host toolbar. This tool provides easy access to several features that you can use to ensure that your Zoom meetings are not interrupted by inappropriate language or content from outsiders or even from the students. When you receive the notification from Zoom that an update is available, be sure to install it in order to have access to this new feature. For more information about the Security tool, and all of our recommended settings to protect your learning environment in Zoom, please consult the Recommended Settings document. |
