How do I admit participants into my class?
It’s simple. As the host, once you’ve started the meeting, you’ll begin to see the number of participants in your waiting room within the Manage Participants icon. Next, select Manage Participants to view the full list. Then, you’ll have the option to admit participants individually by selecting the blue Admit button next to their name or all at once with the Admit All option on the top right-hand side of your screen.

About Zoom, the company has added more things to help us keep our Zoom meetings safe and reliable. Some suggestions I have learned:
ReplyDeleteSchedule your meeting and click the require Meeting Password button on. It will randomly assign a meeting room and password. Do this instead of selecting the Personal Meeting ID.
You can also use the Waiting Room feature to only let in your participants one at a time, or all at once, but you have more control of who comes into the meeting. I'm still learning more about this feature. In the Zoom posting I put on the blog there is more info and training opportunities.
Do you see the meeting lock on your meetings? This is a good thing. I think that comes from assigning a password.
