Welcome to #GoOpen Network eNewsletter March Issue featuring events, news, opportunities, and contributions from your #GoOpen peers.

Staying Connected in the Shift to Remote Learning

We hope you, your families, and your school communities are healthy, and remain healthy in the coming weeks and months. During this time of uncertainty, we encourage you to stay connected with one another — whether sharing resources or strategies as you shift learning online or checking in to offer words of encouragement.

Sharing to GoOpen.us

We encourage you to share #OER resources, strategies, or challenges with the #GoOpen Community on Twitter using the #GoOpen hashtag, through the #GoOpen Network Facebook Group, or via the GoOpen.us site using the #GoOpen Story template. The template is accessible with a GoOpen.us account.
If your state or district has resources to share, and needs any assistance with adding items to the Resource Library on GoOpen.us, please reach info@goopen.us for support.
Here is an example from WA:
#GoOpen Community Supporting Remote Learning
In response to school closures due to COVID-19, the State of WA OSPI has now curated a set of resources to support remote learning. In many cases, these resources are free to use online but are not openly licensed for wide scale reuse and adaptation.

The San Diego County Office of Education's Innovation Division, in partnership with the Classroom of the Future Foundation, will still host their 5th annual regional summit. However, the summit will be offered ONLINE ONLY, to take place LIVE via Zoom on April 2, 2020 (one day only). Go to the event site for the latest updates and detailed schedule.
